Seems like 2k is making MyCareer like WWE. having a enemy named Ellis or something like that. He doesnt play for anybody, ruins the realism of the mode. I want to be enemies with KD or Lebron not some random person. It might all seem great from what they have said but i think when we get it and play the mode, we will be disappointed.

As someone who really enjoyed MyCAREER in NBA 2K13, I have some reservations about it as well. The comparison to the WWE games seems very apt to me, at least from what we know so far. It's been done well and works fine for them because that's how professional wrestling works, but I feel it's going to be too linear and the experience too similar for everyone, which isn't what you want out of a video game based on a real sport. The mode needed to do something to take things to the next level, but I'm not sure that this is necessarily the right direction, though the production values are obviously of a very high standard, with a lot of work no doubt going into it.
