I am just asking because the NBA requires a 12 man roster @ 8/28 I was just wondering because you have to edit tendencies and ratings

Yeah, official updates containing opening night rosters will likely be made available on or shortly after opening night, oddly enough. That said, it remains to be seen whether 2K will do a better job of adding missing players in this yea'rs updates.

I have far more faith in the community roster patchers than in 2K...

Well, we're not bound by the restrictions that they are. It would be nice to get a straight answer as to what those restrictions are, however. They've mentioned not being able to add players that aren't under guaranteed contract, yet there were players with guaranteed contracts who remained missing in last year's updates.

well looking at 2012-13's final roster there were and are still missing players as of now
so maybe opening night plus some add ons from nlsc

as of now the rosters arent bad there just missing some rookies (who arent signed yet)
and they need to add LUIGI Datome lots of datome requests
