NBA 2k14 Control Help

Let's start by saying I really dislike the new Prostick in 2k14 so I changed it back to iso/shooting sticks similar to 2k13 in the ingame control setting menu. But ever since I changed it, I was not able to throw an alley oop or fake pass. Most of the controls remain the same and alley oop (which is LT + x) is not conflicted with any other controls that I known of. So is this some kind of glitch or are the buttons to throw an alley oop is now changed or disable since I am not using the Prostick. And if that's the case, is there any ways for me to add a new control by modifying the game data files. Please help and thank you for your time!

No, it's an oversight. Hopefully it'll be fixed in a patch, but there's no guarantee of that (especially when it comes to the PC version). Right now, 2K's official line has been "give the new controls a try".
