How to increase FPS easily on most NBA 2K14 Mods

I have a horrible laptop and have spent days trying to juice every thing out of it to play NBA 2K14 a good settings. Yesterday I found something that truly amazed me at how simple it was to much of an impact it had.
By doing this simple thing I instantly boosted my game from 28fps to 43fps this was on the march madness 2K14 mod. All I did was use the next gen scoreboard (without logos) instead of the original CBS scoreboard. As simple as that.
Then on my FIBA 2K mod I used the FIBA Africa scoreboard opposed to the original one with the mod and I went from 34fps to 53fps!!!!
I haven't tested it on any other mods but this is 100% legit and I made a YT tutorial if you want the link.
