Talk about NBA 2K14 here.

I can't seem to find my main NBA 2K14 folder that has the nba2k14.exe file in it. I also can't seem to use any roster files I downloaded. If I can get some help that would be great.

It's in the Program Files (x86). Either it's on 2K Sports Folder or in the Steam folder.

For roster/save files, go to %appdata% and go to 2K Sports > 2K14 > Saves

it wasn't in the 2K Sports folder and I can't seem to find my steam folder..... idk what's going on.
edit: so apparently it wasn't named steam. it someone ended being named "downloaded apps", but the 2K files aren't in there. the only thing related to the game is called a bunch of letters/numbers and its just a lebron icon.

(Assuming your hard drive is assigned as drive C...)
If you've got the Steam version, it should be located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\NBA2K14. The common folder under steamapps is where you'll find your installed games.
The rosters are located under the Application Data folder. You'll find that here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\2K Sports\NBA 2K14\SAVES (where USERNAME is your Windows username). A quick way of getting there is to go to the search box and type in %AppData%. From there, go to 2K Sports, NBA 2K14, and then SAVES.

you sir are the man! so i found all the important files and backing them up at the moment. Whenever I put a roster into the save my game won't start up (I hit enter to load my profile and etc, but it just stays at the lebron opening screen). Whenever it actually does load I can't use the roster (it won't show up in load/save).

Very strange, I haven't encountered that one before. Is one particular roster save, or any roster save that you try to use?

after testing a little it's not the roster that's the problem. I have to disconnect my internet for the game to run. I can now also use the NCAA beta roster. I think my issues were a glitch from bringing my steam over to my new laptop from my old one. Thank you all that have helped me and I can wait to help the community!
