I don't think that's what they're meaning to imply. It's just that LeBron is the cover player, so there's a LeBron-centric mode.

Seems pretty cool. 2k implemented some good fiction there.

To do that, they'd have to write scenarios for everyone in the league. It's not simply Creating a Legend featuring LeBron, it's more like the storyline modes that appear in wrestling games. As I understand it, Creating a Legend is still in the game, so it's still possible to have a MyCAREER-type experience with a real NBA player.

How about just improve myplayer so teams play better basketball? Then the path to greatness is there for every myplayer career.
