I am just reposting this so that people can see it here in NBA 2K13 so big credits to Kieran in finding this hidden players
(NOTE: Mods if you feel like this thread is nonsense and they can just check out the old thread feel free to delete this)

So alot of us already know there's a few players that are in the roster but not "active" if you will, the ones who if you go into Reditor and open a roster file you'll see their names there but they don't appear in the FA pool. I'm not talking about those players. I'm talking about players who don't exist in a roster file or anywhere in the game for that matter. There are a bunch of cyberface IDs in there for some past players, some recent, some not so recent.
For those interested I've come up with a list of who I've found so far that have cyberfaces sitting in the NBA 2k12 directory but would need you to create the player and assign the cyberface ID yourself using either the Cyberface Manager or Reditor.

All of these I have tested myself to see that they appear. Only issue is that a couple of them have the black arm problem. Chances are though if you're switched on enough to edit stuff in Reditor then you're probably right to fix the black arm thing yourself. If not look it up.


There's no doubt alot more but I haven't gone through and cross-checked every single png file in there. If there's more that anyone knows of then let me know and I can add to this list.

Have you tested other numbers from last year?

There should be cf numbers for Cousy, Sharman, Pettit, Mikan, Bernard King, LaFrentz, English, etc.

How to make them active in rosters? Or the only thing I can use is cyberfaces?

just the cyberfaces for those who are not in the roster. So create a player, and add the CF to "unlock" those with only a hidden CF
