Hex on Steroids Tool, specifically court reflections and colors, but how to use the tool too
Roster Editor from Leftos, how to use it, fighting with copy/paste, roster compatibility

Just figured out another one :facepalm2: how to import custom numbers and letters with GIMP, aka, how to index the png colors. Took me 3 years to figure that one out.......

I save them as DXT5 and have had good luck so far. They do include an alpha channel.

BlakexTheGreat My pleasure sir.

Just as a FYI to everyone, sometimes it is possible to just export headshape and textures from a CF from 2K13 and re-import them to 2K12 without any kind of editing. I just got done doing Tayshaun Prince in about 5 minutes. This will work best and maybe (only) if you export the same CF from each years game. I have actually done the the other way but that can be a bit more problematic.

Hey,
so im new to this stuff , so be pleased to call me a noob ...
Is anything of those Edits (especially the CF for MyCareer) possible on Xbox 360 ?
I hate those CAP faces 2k uses in their games...

Re: Video Tutorials - Tools, Techniques, and Guides

yes its possible, but know that the roster editor hasnt been updated for the 360 files in quite some time, so it may not be compatible. Also, editing the 360 files like that converts your MP from earning VC to SP.

okay. well i tried it but i cant find my player in that My Career file while using leftos Roster Editor . he is not on ID 1035 or everywhere in that file. also the file seems very buggy ...
Is there another way to get an CF for my Player in my Career on 360 ? :D

When I try to use the UV editor, the lines of the part of the court I selected doesn't show up, unlike the video tutorial. Anybody know what's going on?

Re: Video Tutorials - Tools, Techniques, and Guides

make sure you are in edit mode, and actually have the UV window selected on that right panel like in the video

Damnit :( New pc with windows 8 and it's doing the same thing that started happening to me on windows 7 pc back on 2k12(the reason why i forgot how to do anything with editing cyberfaces and textures). I install 2k mod tool just the youtube video..have the latest java but every time i click on Nba2kXMODTool.jar it says "Java Virtual Machine Launcher A Java Exception has occurred." And then nothing happens....
