I agree. We need a formula like this

Med, along with the PM I sent, I came up with the following Tendencies for Commit Foul and Take Charge. Both have Mean scores of 50, and I believe will generally increase them across the board in the game. I've added them to the Excel file I PMd you -- only use the most recent PM of mine.

EDIT: Also, 82games.com has an Advanced 'Hands Rating' -- but they don't have a list. I'm going to manually compile every player's from their individual pages so we can make a custom accurate 'Hands' Rating in 2K13. If we're gonna do this, we might as well do it right yah?

Dexter Pittman OReb 168, A total of 22 players get 99 Offensive Rebounding compared to my 9.
Maurice Harkless, Khris Middleton, Hakim Warrick all get 99 stealing while Radmanovic gets 94 stealing. Also produces low values like 74 for Rondo.
Daniel Orton has 298 Block along with Varnado's 125 and that gives the roster 7 players with 99 blocking. Also, Maurice Harkless has a 98 block rating.

So anyway, like I said, the formulas need to balance out the priority of per 36 minutes and per game because some players only get to play few minutes but I don't think they will actually produce those numbers when they actually get to play 36 minutes. I sent you a list of ratings (using my formulas) for me to know if you agree or not.

I also sent the 3PT rating and numbers don't lie apparently (Kevin Love's out of shape season of 35% FG and 22% 3PT FG produced a rating of 63 apparently. Maybe we should exclude injured players when fixing the ratings like Rose, Granger, etc.

Alright I finally implemented your tendencies to the newest roster and removed ALL Acrobat signature skills for all players. Some players received a replacement, some did not. 2K did this for the newest roster because of the Euro Step 3 Pointer

Also, I noticed on just about every single highly rated set of Roster/Sliders, they have there, in the Roster, they set 'Run Plays' to 0 under Coach Profiles, and swear it makes a tremendous difference in terms of gameplay, for the better. Have you tried that at all?

Have you tried that at all?

This was pre-patch...when set to 0 the teams actually run plays, when set to 100 they just run & gun from what I understand....seeing as how the PC version is not patched yet setting the run plays to 0 will get the cpu to run actual plays...

What about Medium Shot Attempts for big men for their Spot Up Tendency? Also, Hoopdata has this percentage from certain parts of the floor for calculating their rating (not sure if 82games has this and there's no list either (I think) so we'll have to check it one by one.

Also, I haven't checked all the overalls lately but I've noticed significant changes one some of them.

I used the Hoop Data info to come up with my Tendencies. The Excel file I sent you is all from Hoop Data. 82games doesn't have a list, which makes it tedious, checking 400+ players. And yes, that sounds like a pretty good idea. Let's use 3 Pt Attempts as a basis for G/F Spot Up Tendency, and I guess we can just copy and paste the same Tendency for Mid-Range from F/C for Spot Up. Either way, though, those Hoop Data Shot Location pieces were w hat I used to come up with the Shot Tendencies.

Regarding Overalls, don't worry about them. It's juts an arbitrary formula made by 2K. If the best player in the game is a 70 (which it won't be), and the game plays great, nobody should care, right? Same if half the players have real high ratings. All that matters is the ultimate result, which is great gameplay and reasonable stats.

I think we should have the Spot Up formula like this:

PG, SG, SF uses 3PA per game. PF, C uses Mid Range attempt per game. Do you have a spreadsheet of the shots taken by players from different distances from the basket? I can't seem to find a list on either site.

Regarding overalls, the roster I'm about to send you tomorrow has them regulated and balanced. I think we need to do this because 2K's Association logic is flawed prioritizing the overall rating too much (an issue Slimm44 had)

But when I regulated the overalls I made sure not to touch the stats we formulated.

The sliders are designed to have fair gameplay User vs CPU. You could also try MKHARSH's sliders they say those work well with the roster!
