When i play association or some other mods works perfectly. But when i play my carrer this happens

the basis of everything I said is that the game is being played under modern rules, which afaik is not something that can be changed in the game. With these rules, the more open 3s, non-contact layups (and in this game also open 2s) you get, the more effective your offense will usually be. Is see a big difference to real life though. I could see an offense run by Rose, Jordan & Pippen without stretch bigs struggling irl, because only MJ can still reliably get good shots if you crowd the paint. In 2k13 they'd still be good though, because you can't (or at least I can't) effectively crowd the paint. I'd control 1 big to patrol the paint and hope to disrupt layups with him and MJ would score well with pull-ups. Ideally I'd defend on-ball but I often can't afford to because I don't know of any way to make my AI controlled players sag off their men more than maybe one or two steps off the ball while still playing man-to-man D (1 foot in the paint rule), so if I get beat there often will not be enough help. Good scorers will still score, I give you that.
Yet, from my subjective experience AI teams that play inside out are still more effective than the ones that rely on 1v1 scoring. With the 04 T-Wolves I had more playoff troubles with the Rockets and Spurs than with the Lakers, because the first two have better shooters (and maybe more willing passers). Especially the Rockets were deadly when kicking it to Yao and sorrounding him with shooters. The guys is a monster 1v1 and will reliably find the open man. In the 6 game series Maurice Taylor lead them in scoring maybe 5 times. He got some Off rebounds but mostly shot & made half contested long twos with KG closing out. Jim Jackson & Mobley were deadly once losing their defender for even a moment off the ball (yeah I use Play Tight and Deny Ball). Helping off of Francis doesn't really work either, as he catches and drives too quick for me to switch to a big and get into a position to effectively contest his finish and what how much use is Cassell as a help defender anyway? The point is the AI can score alone but is even more effective when it can break down the D and make plays for its finishers, especially shooters. A big reason I believe is that it's harder to make a contact layup than a half contested jumper with your roster and sliders which may not be totally realistic but makes for good gameplay.
The main reason I like shooters so much is that it how I play though. I kinda suck at beating people off the dribble, shooting pull-ups & finishing in traffic. I need a good hard screen or a post mismatch to get to the cup with pretty much any player. I can shift defenses a little and then find the open shooter though. I just played the All-Star game in my 2006 Suns season were the East outscored my starting lineup of Nash/Kobe/T-Mac/Garnett/Yao and I found much more success switching out T-Mac for Bibby. The way I play, the SG always gets lots of open threes and Kobe only hit 1-7 from deep while Bibby saved me going 2-3 in the 4th which means a lot playing 6min quarters. I always play better when I can make plays for shooters and finishers. Raja Bell's scoring is my Suns' barometer of playing well and even playing a few games with the 87 Celtics my best weapon is Ainge & Bird bombing away from deep. Reggie Miller is one of the absolute best scorers for me in URB and he's not going to take away from anybody's game while Wade & Lebron on the same team don't really add much to each other. Stuff that makes you an MVP is not always additive, shooting & defense always is.
tldr: I love shooters and try to make a case for them over iso scorers.

So, Yesterday I downloaded NBA 2k13, and after that, I downloaded the URB mod for the game. It runs kind of smooth, the game is great, ratings and the work on the mod is awesome, but I have one problem: whenever I want to start an assocciation mode with the urb2018 roster, it goes 4 years forward. Every single player is 4 years older, ruining it at the end of first season, because a lot of the best players retire, and young players have like 30. I checked if there was any asso file in the ubr roster file so i can play wiith the actual roster, and nothing, I checked on internet, nothing, I checked if there was some file that changges association date but I dont know a lot about modding. Could someone tell me what should i do so I can start an associattion mode, with the last roster, without going 4years forward and having a 30 year old anthony davis ? Help would be aprecciated.

yes, you must wait for final release, we still dont have all new jerseys, courts, trades will come, new contracts etc etc. THEN i will prepare asso version.

Me again, more questions for anyone that knows.
Is there any roster compatible with the Urb mod, (rating system, and all that staff, I really love this ratings) that features all time teams? You know, all time bulls, lakers, all time celtics, etc.?
And also, is there any 2016/2017 draft class out there that features the players of those draft classes with the rating system compatible with the Urb mod? I dont wanna play with 77+ overall rookies (not even top picks) if the media of a lot of teams is a 73 overall player. If every player is a 90+ overall player in their third year in the league it kinds of ruins it.
And one more thing, is there any way I can make contact dunks less frequently? I am sick of having Dwade dunking 3 times on Shaq and 4 on Yao in 1 single quarter. Nowhere realistic, I change sliders but is the one thing that really doesn`t change a lot.

the score's "font color" are dark grey/black when using the scoreboards stated above making it hard to see the scores. help please!

It happens to me also, so I attached with a TNT scoreboard, not from the pack. But if you want to use them , have yoou tried to download the files that fix the scoreboard from the mod site? If you go to downloads, you wiill find them, at the right bottom. Try it, maybe it will fix it.

i downloaded the fix from the mod's site but i think it is only for NBA 2K14 because it only contains the NBA 2K14.exe and some rld.dll. I really want to have the tnt gold v4 scoreboard. please help someone.

edit:
maybe i installed it the wrong way? i just copied the files from Logos For All Custom Scoreboards and the newscorebug.iff inside my NBA 2K13 installation folder. is it that right way to install it?

Alright, I just saw the game in depth, with all the new stuff. I love it!! Only two things that I notice are the missing boston player, Daniel Theis, and the numbers in golden state jerseys. Other than that, i think its a fantastic job what you have done!
