[Tool] Roster Editor

atrak5[LTU] I think the best way to do that is to create a player in game in your roster of choice, (Finding him may be a problem so make a few of his attribs 99 so you can spot him out of the 400 some spots) then copy and paste the whole line from the other roster over the newly created player, then save.

That's right! But how to copy whole line? There is no copy/paste option as I see...

Copy that player to a spreadsheet from the roster that has him originally.
Create a new player in the new roster, find his ID.
Substitute the ID of the player in the spreadsheet with the one of your created player.
Copy back into the NEW roster.

yesterday the offical roster release , and i trys to add plays cyberface EX:Mirza Teletovic
but i uncheck Mirza Teletovic GenericF and save player !!!but it doesn't work in the game~
i just want ask this step is right or not ???if wrong ~can you tell me the right way ~THX!!!

is there a way to adjust the minutes of team mates in mycareer using this editor?

That's what I thought, but after editing them all to 0 or 50 or 100, the hotspots were still the same in the game.....

Jellyfish I am not sure there are in fact Hot Spots like last year, I think they combined them into one set. If you look at any regular player's attribs there are 4 different sections under hot spots and each section must total 100.
Post = 4 spots
ISO = 6 spots
Spot Up = 9 spots
Pick & Roll = 5 spots
If I was you I would create a player, set his spots as you wish, then copy them to your MC file. Delete the created player after if you wish.

The Name.txt does work fine. Do you have the name.txt in the same folder as Roster Editor. Do you have Roster Editor in your Documents folder. If you don't have both in the correct place it will never work.

Second pat of your question. Roster Editor does NOT WORK with any of the new official rosters. This could be another reason your name.txt don't work, not sure about that.

Tried it, did nothing, same cold/hot spots still in the game. This really kills the game for me, as I have mid range and 3pt at .43 so my teammates won't drain an unrealistic amount of their shots, but it seems like it really amplifies the cold zones for me. It is borderline impossible to hit an open jumper from a cold spot.

Do you know, does performance in shootaround/scrimmage affect those zones, or is it just games? I mean, I could put mid range and 3pt at 100 for a scrimmage and turn those cold spots to neutral, so that could be a workaround. I'll give it a try.....

if i have Mirza Teletovic cyberface but in the game the face is default face (NOT real face)!!

Uncheck GenericF and put his png????.iff in the CFID and PortraitID spots. Just the four numbers. If you are using the new updated roster from 2K this probably will not work as I already told you.

i have 2 questions:
where i must put my names.txt file ?(the latest with CFID )
how can i take player from updated roster to old roster? for example players like Johnson-Odom ect.? copy and paste seems doesnt work?

copy paste is dependent on the player ID, copy it into notepad or open office or excel first and change that first ID as needed to get it to paste in the correct space

anyway to set each player with a random celebration?
also random pre game rituals animations?

if they arent accessible in this editor, then now, you'll have to edit them in-game

What if the names in the roster editor are misplaced i.e. Derrick Rose's name is assigned to a small forward

There are two reasons I can think of to cause that. If the roster is one of the newer official releases it is not compatible with roster editor. Or the roster was based on anything except the official DVD\stream? version where the ID numbers changed, if that is the case try using the CFID trick under options.
