R4zoR, after reading your first post about anything is possible in regards to courts really got me thinking about this one for some reason:
1992 Barcelona

With the trapezoid lane and all. Anyway this is possible?
Fri May 17, 2013 11:44 pm
That court would be simple honestly. You would just make the lanes that shape in blender.

gamez wrote:So R4zoR, you achieve this using Texmod, right? I don't think this is the best way to go... I won't be using it, I mean, as you said it has bugs, and it will kill the framerates in some system (in my computer, as example, that's why I said in won't be using Texmod). But, anyway, do as you want, you are doing a great work, I really enjoy your courts with the new technique

I hope its not texmod. Texmod had quite a few problems achieving this HD stuff with mass effect. It is also a pain to load lol. Hopefully you are wrong and its not texmod. Regardless r4zor, still excited.

Well if you really guys want to know it is Texmod, so what, if you want to have your game in hd, you'll have to sacrifice something, cause everything is running fine for me, even when i have a pc that's been bought in 2006 or sth.
That's just plain and simple, i'll still be making new tattoo updates for the players, if people want to have their game look less blurry, they will use it.

Tell us how to you use this Texmod you speak of.
Sat May 18, 2013 1:24 am
WOW! Just amazing findings there man! Keep up the good work!
MeGustaNBA wrote:Shoes in HD would be epic.
I believe the shoes are already in HD since 2K12. Shoe modders like me have been using the 1024x1024 textures.

You should know R4zoR, I am not dissing the idea. Just mass effect had graphical glitches that made it unbearable (to me anyways), I do not mind using it if it works without glitching like Mass Effect did. Sounds awesome though, cant wait for more.

there are a bunch of tutorials of the program on youtube and google. it's not a new program, been around for awhile. forces textures into your game.

Well i could make them again, but i don't have their official photos anymore, cause my pc crashed a few months ago, so i lost a lot of things. If you could give me a photo where i can see them clearly, i could give it a try. And should i do them with the hd method or the old regular iff one?
Sat May 18, 2013 6:48 am
running fine for me too

AWESOME *___*
Sat May 18, 2013 6:51 am
How does this work?
Sat May 18, 2013 8:30 am
LOL wow it's funny that you discovered that TexMod can be used, I just heard about it for the 1st time a few weeks ago cuz I wanted to mod Batman:AC and TexMod is required to inject the HD textures. I think the program first came about from modding GuildWars 1 if i'm not mistaken.
And people please for the love of god stop asking if so and so graphical mod will slow down your PC!!
Nobody knows your personal computer besides you so nobody can accurately answer that question, plus in general you should always assume that WHEN USING MODS, BETTER GRAPHICS = SLOWER GAME!! It's up to you to use tweaking and trial & error to get your build running optimally how YOU would like it!
Anyway, thanks for the tip R4zor, looks like I have something else to tinker with over the wknd...

To the poster above, do not tell people what they can and cannot ask. This is a community forum.
R4zoR, any plans to release your NCAA model with double 3 lines?

First off bro, your English is bad and your comment makes it seem like I'm forcing an issue, when I'm not.
If you don't like my suggestion\request, then don't adhere to it. Simple as that.
I was merely making a statement towards those who ask questions regarding graphic mods which
realistically cannot be accurately answered, since the answer is based on their personal computer setup.
Secondly, you sound like a hypocrite dictating to
me what I can and cannot suggest to other forum members, because you're doing exactly what you accused me of doing.

this is so sick!! I want me some HD 2k13!!

R4zoR wrote:Give some thoughts guys and if you all want to know, the iff's will be less needed now if you want to know that.
so the HD mods are going to be released in exe? or something else
If it's Texmod, maybe the mods will be released in tpf?

just asking

Well i tried to do something with some lower res pics, but oh well, the results are decent i guess.
The previews are down below.
As well as some more things i want to show
Someone asked me to show the previews using 2k camera, so here's the 2048x2048 court textures.
Northern Colorado

HD Portrait Example
1024x1024 One's

DJ Augustin's Tattoos
Can't really say that they are HD enough, cause of the pics i had, but meh.

Is better to know the flaws of using Texmod, and this is how Texmod works: it doesn't replace any of the games files, instead it loads new textures from the tpf files in place of/ on top of the original textures, and this is very bad for resources. If a mod is very large it can take TexMod a very long time to load the game, this is because it's based off of definition files which tell the program what textures will be loaded in place of the original textures and load them all before the game starts. This can cause upwards of 15 minutes of loading if you have some insanely large textures. Also, depending on the game engine, this can push the game past 2 gigs of RAM usage which can cause crashes.
If people is having performance problem using photomods just think what would happen using Texmod, and don't forget that Texmod produces some graphical glitches (at least they are temporary, but there isn't a way to avoid this random glitches).

Well guys, since the cats out of the bag as far as TexMod goes, does anybody wanna tell us graphic editing challenged people how we might operate this?
I've followed some tutorials on the internet and have gotten some crazy results. Most of my guys end up looking like Sisqo with bleached hair and weird skin. If somebody sends me step-by-step directions of what to do, I'll take screenshots and post a detailed tutorial in this thread. This seems really exciting, and I'm looking forward to some extreme HD CFs.
I was under the assumption that if you wanted to increase the resolution of the textures, you'd just grab them, resize them in photoshop, then dump them back into the game. Is this true?
AVG has also alerted to a "trojan horse" whenever beginning logging mode, is this happening to anyone else? It must be a false positive.
