4. i will reinstall the game tomorrow and see what will happen. it's so strange... ubr 2k14 works without crashes and i tried several different rosters one after another, no single crash. reinstall of the game and mod will tell more.

i think for now it will be best solution, sry to hear for you.

yeah i will do that when i get back from work... but what crosses my mind is what if that issue start happening again when i want to play 85 mod? what then?

let's see what happens after reinstall of the game.


p.s. while playing 85 bulls last night, i noticed that michael jordan's body looks like veteran jordan from 98. he should be skiny there, not the muscle type of guy that year.

im working on update for 85. already fixed this and a ton of other bodytypes. in the meantime you can just edit his weight down to 194 to make him skinny.

btw. right now im trying to include NBATAK newest kid- 1987 roster- all im able to do right now is fix jerseys numbers, hope u will look what can be change after your touches on 1985 and maybe some rest haha.

ctd happened just when i wanted to play after loading 85 roster. i selected teams and press enter to start the match and puff - i was back on desktop. changing teams and jerseys ran without problems, everything was ok, only when starting game i get ctd.

i didn't test all the teams because i first reinstalled the mod and checked the same teams i had crash with the first time and the same happened. i tested 85 and 91 sixers and bulls (swithcing home and away games for them), but when i loaded them for the second time, they worked. so basically it went like this - first time load = crash, second time load = i was able to play.

then i jumped to random 99 roster matchup between wovles (home) and nuggets (away) and it also crashed immediately. then i decided to stop figuring out and uninstall the game.

but i noticed in 85 roster that some teams, like for example sixers, are not alphabetically sorted like in other rosters. why is that? can that cause some issues?

pathehead choose this way, it is alphabetically but sorter by city, really nothing special and for sure not causes crashes. Dont affraid to use 85- really this is not a problem.

no, havent got around to big dog yet. the cfs in 85 roster needed more attention than i anticipated. by the time im done with it i will have either made or found better look a likes for for 90% of the players. i know how time consuming it is finding cfs that work for these older seasons with the hairstyles and facial hair back then but in so many cases its just a white guy or black guy with no regard to skin tone or hair. so needless to say this 85 roster is looking WAY better.

Great news. I cant find additional time to look closer into 85, even to check jerseys numbers, so all of this its not my work, i just spend week to make it compatible with urb. From first look i thought it was great base by Pathehead. I wanted to start some season or asso with this but again no time, but now when you are saying about updating a lot of things i think i finally start playing with 85. Take your time bro, any close day of v2?

dont know if you saw vlads tutorial on how to add unlimited shoes but im thinking about possibilities and revising 93 and 98. im not sure how many people bothered to add my 93 shoe edits because of fear of copying over current shoes and its a shame because it adds a lot of realism to the roster. which reminds me, you should replace jampasirs shoe pack from first page with my revised edition so people who are interested in accurate shoes arent confused.

guys, don't wanna tell you what to do, but imho wasting time on shoes is not that important. i think it's better save that time for rosters, than shoes.

i have one suggestion. since many users have problems installing this mod, what do you think that you rearrange download parts on first page to something similar hawk did with ubr? to have less parts but with bigger size. 11 parts + shoes + separate link for rosters maybe cause some difficulties for some users. what do you think about rearranging it in less but bigger parts?

guys, don't wanna tell you what to do, but imho wasting time on shoes is not that important. i think it's better save that time for rosters, than shoes.

to me shoes is part of rosters. some people dont care about accessories and say gameplay is only thing to worry about. others will take it further and call names because people were complaining that 2k got accessories wrong. i ask those people if the game had live 95 graphics but modern gameplay would they still buy the game and of course they wouldnt.

accurate accessories and shoes is not only important for immersion/realism but it helps during gameplay to quickly identify players. you have had plenty opinions about skintones and bodytypes, why does it matter? it matters because you want it to look right, correct? well in my opinion shoes and accessories are just as important as accurate jerseys, jersey numbers, skin tones etc...

now i see i was not specific enough . all i meant is that i think it would be better to save that time to finish missing rosters, fixing issues in existing ones and updating current 13/14 one, then after all that is done, to go up for shoes.

i didn't mean to skip shoes for good. just to postpone it a little bit. just my 50c, you guys will decide in the end

Im for sure not shoes fetishist, but if for some users it is important part of game, why we should not give those people some fun? portlandblazer is on board, he is for sure not intrested in updating 13/14, i trust him with every decision he make, if he think its important and worth to do it, im with him. I dont want to watch Kareem Abdul Jabbar in one of LBJ shoes ffs and we are no rushing anywhere so why not

Many people got problems not because of many parts of this mod but i will consider this idea. Can u give me example good place to upload? i heard about many problems with download Hawks ubr btw

mega and zippyshare are excellent. and they are free, meaning you don't need to register in order to upload stuff.

also gamefront if fine, but you need to register there i think.

i don't have problems with how many parts you put, but maybe it would be easier for certain users and maybe even yourself if you have less parts but with bigger size

I've got 1997 roster ready to release.
nbatak's 1987 roster need some tweaks- jerseys numbers, rotations, and update for some players bios(draft round etc)- it take a while.
new draft classes are ready, Stildo33 create 1985,86,88,90,92 and nbatak 1987
huge update of 1985 roster by portlandblazer is close
MadbaLL issues report is still not finished so if u guys got some new things to update just let me know so i can fix it with V18.

i have a problem with certain Cyberfaces in the retro mods. I redownloaded all of them and it still doesn't work for me. all of the following players have no head and white arms.

download all 11 parts and put FILES from them, not the folders inside those parts in main nba 2k13 folder.

I did, I'm quite sure. There are no folders in my main NBA2k13 folder. otherwise the other faces and jerseys wouldn't have work as well. what I mean is, I have most cfs ingame and it works fine, but these faces here don't do.

I'll download these folders again, but I guess there won't be a difference.

There is no even one headless player in all of my rosters, even one. I can say more, no even one generic face. Fault is on your site man, sry.
