Bret Hart would had said the same thing.![]()
jokes aside, for community members that keeps saying 2K13 is better gameplay wise than 2K12 will just repeat themselves when 2K14, 15, 16, etc comes out...but one thing is for sure, nothing will beat the original UBR Project for 2K12....and i will continue to play it like it's 1999.![]()
if HAWK23 and the team members of UBR continues to support this amazing project that will never be top (in my opinion), i will continue to support them and be part of the team....family.
....TO INFINITY......AND BEYOND!
note: i have played NBA 2K13 and........i'm still playing NBA 2K12 with UBR.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Now seriously, before the topic got locked or moved.
The UBR is like The Beatles, NASA or the NBA itself. It's a paradigm.
In the future, we gonna seek into dictionaries to find what the UBR means, and it gonna appears: "Ultimate Base Roster Mod Pack" (or simply "UBR"), it's a global project for Video Games made under and by the avatar of (Hawk23) matched by a international crew that joined their own creativity into the history of the NBA Basketball itself & blah, blah, blah...
The UBR was build into a foundation of unselfishness, respect and spirit of group. Look to myself as an example, i got my hard days with Hawk, and some NLSC members, but at the end of the day, HE NEVER took it away mine super retro teams, altough he first and main worry were to fill the 80's and the 90's (his predilect era) with teams and action. That's a sign of respect.
We got guys like me, passionate, fighting for new ideas with everybody, always seeking for extend the project.
Guys like Retro, Francis, Sevin and Chris, more calm, with more discipline, always supporting the game with art files.
Guys like Vlad, Leftos, Jao, creating manuals, tutorials, programs and spreading the tools for creation.
Guys like Mike, Bird, Nuhmete, Hawk, Ray, getting some work and perfectioning, transforming what's good into better pieces, shaping the game.
Guys like Broken, Red, Suriad, always fixing every little detail and again, making our experience perfect.
Just to say some names, the group is large and mix experience and youth, inteligence and hard work, so my conclusion boards the rightful meaning for the UBR, as logically i'm in favor of seeing this Project Master Piece over and over as years goes by in next versions of NBA 2K13, 14, 15,... or NBA Lives... Do not fool yourselves, cause like the name said the UBR is the BASE.
And the basis is the area of work where we develop other projects (maybe in the future? Who knows???), so if someone wanna a new UBR, gotta seed it's basis.
And 3 things are needed as we need water to live:
1) A software like the Reditor to copy and move this giant database to the "new game"
2) Art files in mass (from jerseys, courts, gears... till CF's for coaches and players)
3) A group of individuals that focus in the same gold, but in diferent ways, to do what is needed to complete the job.
UBR Family forerver!

Gotta Respect men.
