Either save a Roster.ROS, or click on "Restore Custom Rosters" and then "Force Keep My Mods" after you reach the main menu.

"Newbie's warning
Don't be scared by the number of buttons and features the tool offers. Normally you won't need to do anything other than start the tool and click on "Start Game". The tool is fully-automatic in what it needs to do, that is, force the roster refresh, watch for new updates, and replace any conflicting ones with mods. You won't need to press any of the other buttons to do any of that. Just start the tool, and start the game. The rest of the buttons are either for modders or people who want to use a specific feature manually."

Does this still apply to the 2k13 Keep My Mod app? Or is this for the 2k12 version? Because I'm getting confused on how to operate this. Noob, very noob here. I'm afraid of changing anything when I don't understand it fully. Do I still need to select the mods I want to keep or can I just open the app and start the game from there without selecting anything?

Every instruction of the 2K12 version still stands. Only thing that has changed is that the tool can't detect when the game has finished loading (and I've put that in a note in bold), so you need to save a Roster.ROS when you reach the Main Menu or click on Restore Custom Rosters and Force Keep My Mods.

And yes, of course you still need to select which mods to keep. How would the tool know otherwise?

you are doing something wrong, in the mod manager part only select the suns court and leave the other courts on the left side.
Opinions are my own.

lets say I want to use a custom scoreboard, knicks home or away uniform, Rasheed Wallace CF, or one of the courts 2K updated. Simply putting the custom iff files in the main folder will no longer work since 2K has our game redownload updated official versions of these files each time we play.

What this tool does is allow us to use custom files, overriding 2K's updates, while still being able to connect online and use other official 2K updates
Opinions are my own.

Then do Force Keep My Mods again before the next game. Game syncs with the servers once in a while, so it's bound to redownload and reapply its updates if you take too long between games.

What are ODBackup and ODBackupMods folder? Do I need them or can i delete them. The Cache folder is also full with files that look like this amb00000.iff and tr000000.iff.They weren't there before, what are their purpose and can they be deleted? And last question inside the Online data and new folder has been added alongside the downloads folder called latest, do i need this folder or can i delete them since it has the same files as the download folder?

disci922, don't delete any of the folders you mentioned.

lexo1000, thanks for reporting that. I fixed it and uploaded v0.1.0.2.

Hey Leftos,

First, thanks for all of the work on this game to make this game better than out-of-the-box.

Secondly, in terms of this mod I am still having a problem. I noticed that when I enter and the leave/complete a game the mods remain, but the downloaded shoes (i.e. the new Lebrons) disappear. I also notice that some shoes (I think the new Nikes) turn bright green and red. Is there a step I am missing or should I exit and re-enter the game after each game I play??

Just before leaving the game to return to the menus at the Game Summary screen, hit Restore Online Data Backup.
Just before entering the game, when selecting jerseys, hit Force Keep My Mods.

I have a strange issue.
So I have an ESPN scoreboard, knicks home and away jersey, and a brooklyn nets court.
I select those mods to keep before I play, open up the game, and then press show my rosters.
Then I go to quick game screen, and force keep my mods.
I play a game, and when I press quit, it CTD's without warning.

Is there another file I have to keep or something? It's really bugging me.

Or am I supposed to do that "Restore Online Data Backup" Before I leave?
