We all should be waiting for start a new Association  Well, at least me.

Meantime, I have a couple of questions. I'm not a previous user of Alby's roster, didn't play 2K12.

- I see other rosters do include a missing cyberfaces pack (like great skoadam's URB), but I see this one doesn't. So, should I download any Alby's compatible missing CF pack? In that case, which one?

- Does Alby provide with and without injuries rosters?

Thanks in advance. And be patient.

BabyFace V3 -> slimm44 -> skoadam's URB

They all use the same pack I think......

It's okay to use them with Albys' or official one.

Im not sure because i did not check Albys roster at all, and slimms just ocasionally. But to the point. If roster patcher use the same iff file as portrait than yes it shud be everything ok and dont mess up evrthing. But when roster patcher(like i do) add some completly missing players(mostly retired players) i must add him different iff number. If any1 didnt understand i wait for pm to be more clear. I dont want to spam other patchers threads.

Great roster Albys, as always ! Thank you very much !

tip : after many games ive figured out that "attack the basket=1", is as much important as "run plays=1" in coach profiles. At least for people that play @ all-star/superstar level. (11min/q for realistic stats is a must).

Re: Albys Realistic Roster and gameplay 1.1 RELEASED!

Sun Dec 16, 2012 9:03 am

Albys Realistic Roster 1.1 released:

15 December 2012
New features RR 1.1:
- updated with accuracy all overall and shot tendencies for 9 teams players (from Phila to Memphis + Houston), based on advanced real nba 2013 performance and stats (nba.com, Hoopsdata.com and many more)
- added (for same 9 teams) Vannswolfhawk playbooks and updated signature skills.
- updated real sigshots (Thanks to Jhiane from NLSC) and some isomoves/layup packages
- fixed Derrick Williams skin color
- fixed O'Quinn and Murphy face and portraits.
- some other fixes.

new gameplay 1.1:
- better cpu defence, realistic speed, quickness and jump, more blocks and brawl under the board, more real %, some more and 1, more 3pt shots, and many more.
- 2 sliders level: PRO level, and ALL STAR level (for All Star and Superstar)
- the 9 teams completely edited with Vannwolfhawk playbooks have coach profile plays: 100. Others teams have 1. This is better solution. I will continue adding Vann's playbooks for all teams.

Installation:
simply install Albys RR11.ROS and Albys RRsettings.STG (PRO or ALL STAR) in your saves folder.
Start the game, go to save/load option, load Albys RR1 and Albys RRsettings.
Done! :-)

Please use ALL STAR SETTINGS with my roster. I think is a very good combo setting/sliders. :)
Many thanks for support and tell me your opinion on these sliders.
I think this RR 1.1 have a better gameplay than RR 1.0, and i hope will be better gameplay released for 2k13.

I will continue update other 21 teams with Vannswolfhawks playbooks and tendencies/signatures skills + accessories, colors and shoes.
Maybe the RR2 will be released in Christmas day...

Albys, are you willing to collaborate your roster with Mattan's global such as the accessories like the long hexpad?

I just did a windmill dunk in a half court set with Lebron against Dwight Howard. Also, you still set the gameplay speed to 46 so it's pretty clear that you didn't listen to me at all about game speed and its time issues. I was using the Heat and had 11 points with 9 minutes left then I stopped playing. I was able to cheese a lot and always pulled off spin dunks. Also the CPU keeps shooting from the three even if it's a bad shot and it goes in a lot. Also, why do you have the sliders on All-Star? Nobody likes playing on any difficulty other than Hall of Fame! You should set them to HoF and tweak the sliders instead.

You're a little demanding don't you think? Alby's doesn't have to put his time in for this, he's doing the community a favor. You should try editing the roster yourself to get the game to play like you want.

apollokid wrote:The problem with sliders is that you can't change the core mechanics of the game. So no matter what you set on ball defense to, the game simply lacks any influence of momentum and player positioning on defending the ball handler.
You can spam moves as much as you want and bump into defenders repeatedly until you get past them, and that's intended as far as I'm concerned.

And I understand that since if the game would work like real basketball, many gamers would be bored with that, so 2k is doing the smart thing.

But since sliders is all we've got...I think ball handling has to be lowered considerably, I'd like it at 0, but the AI is too passive that way, so around 25-35 is a good compromise.
Also I'm testing defensive pressure settings right now and it almost seems like it works better with values <50.
I'm still trying this but with the AI defensive pressure set to 1 and adjusted individual matchups (simply switch to the 'constant pressure' preset), I like on ball defense almost better than with really high values.
The reason is that if you have defensive pressure set very high, the defender is so close to you that driving becomes too easy. Now I know everyone plays the game different, but it works for me.

It makes almost no sense, but I feel like low pressure combined with setting individual defense for the CPU works better. There will never be a videogame without exploits, so I just want the game to look somewhat like real basketball. An low pressure looks more real to me because the speed of closing out shooters is too high for me with high pressure settings.

I agree, apollokid. (Y)
