You're only going to be changing Potential ratings right? That's easily transferrable via REDitor.

I needed the accurate attributes of v1.1 because setting potential is based greatly upon the overall rating. If overalls change in v1.1 I could change potentials again to accommodate, but I'd rather do it right the first time.

Sorry it took so long to respond.

Amaro definitely!

intuit91 wrote:hey man, great mods you've been releasing! i had two questions. one, would you be able to replace your current Reggie Miller cyberface with this one? http://www.nba2k.org/2013/05/nba-2k13-r ... patch.html (it's listed as pngXXXX but you'd just change it to png9001) this one is a lot more accurate and it doesn't have the weird sunken eyes thing going on (i know you didn't make the cyberfaces but trust me, this one looks MUCH more realistic). second, i know you are adding some older teams right now, but i remember in one of your early releases you included the 99-00 miami heat. would it be possible for you to reinclude it for this release? i know you probably have the cyberfaces and the jerseys and teh cyberfaces from last time you did it (even though a lot of the cyberfaces are already available from guys like hardaway and mourning being on other legends teams in the game's release) but it would be really cool if you could re-add them. one last question too--thanks for fixing the logos on the vintage teams so they're sharper image quality, but could you replace the bucks logo for ray allen's bucks with the old bucks logo (the purple and green) instead of the current one (green and red)? thanks so much for making the 2k13 experience that much better!

I'll see what I can do with the logos! In my opinion my Reggie Miller CF is much better than the one you sent me.

re the reggie miller face: i thought that the face you had was more textured, but the problem is whoever made it modeled the face on the cf for obama, which is why he has such a resemblance! the person who made the CF i mentioned based it on ray allen, which was a better fit for reggie's face (plus gotta love the three-point legend connection :p). out of curiosity, since i haven't had a chance to try that face, could you post an in-game pic from the last mod (with the 98-99 pacers)? thanks, we're all really looking forward to your new release!!

Medevenx, dude, I've talked universal lists for cf's and jerseys, but this is serious. We need a universal shoe list.

Image

This is Julius Erving from my roster, supposedly wearing Converse Chuck Taylor sneaks. Your shoe pack overwrites a lot of shoes and so here we are, with Dr. J wearing Le Coq. It's kinda funny if you think about it, but it's pretty serious for roster makers. Like you. And me. Uh-huh. :cheeky: This needs a fix, bro.

I can't. That's not on me really. I didn't change anything like that, it just happened.

The shoe patching market IMO is oversaturated right now. A lot of players from homicide to jampasir make shoes and it's not like cyberfaces where we can just add slots. With shoes we can't so you can always only have 1 pack at a time.

Here's a coach update.

Why does 2K think Mark Jackson is a white man? I should post some images of the '78 Spurs and the '93 Suns soon.

Yo Med, a few things Rockets related that need fixes in your roster regarding contracts

Omer Asik and Jeremy Lin's contracts were poison pill contracts, hence the 5 million, 5 million, 15 million payouts they get (and the cap hit the Bulls and Knicks would have had, respectively if they matched). Because of a loophole in the CBA though, the Rockets cap hits are 8.3 million each year for each player. Can you fix for association?

Also, Patrick Beverley has team options, he's signed for 788,872 2013-14, 915,243 2014-15, and 1.1 million for 2015-2016 (put 2 yr team option). Aaron Brooks also is only signed for next year, but it's a team option (which the Rockets will certainly decline).

Thanks dude.

I didn't really do the contracts, skoadam did and I don't really know what you want me to fix because I don't understand the problem..

Isn't it? Can't we like rename a shoe file to, say, shoe_2000_00.iff and have it in the main folder? The only thing that would matter is whether it would show up in the 2K Shoes panel (and I'm quite certain that it won't). We can assign them manually through Roster Editor or RED MC. That way, more shoes get into the game while not compromising for previously created shoes. Hope you can give that some thought. :)

Thanks! I'm waiting on jampasir. He's silent but deadly lol. He'll show up with lots of new stuff for the roster.

It's impossible. I already tried that and setting the new shoe file to the player via editors but it turns out as Generic. It's hardcoded into the nshoe_global I think.
