Don't think that's possible before REDitor. You can edit the logo1000.iff files and so on though directly.

skoadam, thanks for noticing. It is the v0.19.2, that's me forgetting to update the version number. If you see the options that are there in the screenshot, then you have it.

However, I've uploaded a new version with the version number fixed so that you don't get pestered about an update.

Find & Replace can now replace values with random ones within a range by using the Random operator and entering the minimum and maximum as the value separated by a semicolon (e.g. RPot Random 30;80 will generate random potential ratings for the matching players between 30 and 80)

Is there a way to change the name of coaches using your tool? In my own game Coach Carlesimo & Boylan still have the name of Avery Johnson & Scott Skiles when i look up to coach profile. I'm using URB as my base. I also have a problem on how to include Patrick Beverley and Mikael Gelabale in the game. I have their Cyberfaces but i dont know the default cfid of those players where i can overwrite the file. I try to put Beverley in the roster using your tool and i succeeded to put him in the FA list but his name appear as ****************.
I have a problem on name issue... Please HELP Mr. Leftos. THANKS!

Hey Leftos, do you think there are maybe more hidden values in roster files? Had a brief convo with Slimm in his roster thread about the AI calling only a handful different plays and I wondered if there could be something nobody has figured out yet about how this works ingame. Any idea? The scripting itself can't be figured up I suppose, but maybe there are hidden ratings or something to look at.

I can't see the teams and jerseys on new roster editor

regmac, names can't be changed. Either figure out the actual Staff ID by searching through the CF column in the Staff tab and enter that in the StHeadCoach, or get used to the name until REDitor comes out which will allow name editing.

ass123, skoadam put it quite right. There's REDitor for 2K12. Mind you, once REDitor for 2K13 comes out, I'm not working on this anymore. It's been fun and useful to have a roster editor until REDitor, but the lack of proper support out of the community compared to the time I've put to it has persuaded me to just give up whenever REDitor comes out. Hell, there's features I'd love to implement, but I really can't bother doing so because the thing's free. Sorry. I'll do my best to add features to REDitor via plug-ins or tools as soon as it comes out though, just like last year.

apollokid, there's tons of more values in the roster files. Just take a look at Vlad's blog, and you'll find nearly everything there is. REDitor should be close now, so just wait a bit more.

EDIT: The video has some mistakes that I've told Jon about over Skype. He may or may not upload a fixed version.

To summarize, you don't use +=Rand if you want to increase by a fixed amount (say by 10), you use it to increase by a random amount between two values. For example:

RDunk += 10 increases matched players' dunk rating by 10.
RDunk +=Rand 5;10 increases matched players' dunk rating by a random value between 5 and 10.

Same for every other thing.

RDunk /= 2 divides the Dunk Rating by 2.
RDunk /=Rand 1;2 divides the Dunk Rating by a random value between 1 and 2.

EDIT 2:Also, Apply Replace Filters applies ALL saved filter files in the same folder as the one you select. If you just want to re-apply one saved filter file, go to Find & Replace, Load Filter, and do your thing.

thanks for the updates. wondering if there were gonna be any updates which could edit draft class files, not being able to edit draft class shoes is frustrating.
