Hello, I don't mean to be rude but i don't agree with the r72 for carmelo... I've been studying his jumper for quite sometime now... I'd have to say I tried every single release in the game unfortunately non of them hits it... I know the rudy gay released is also commonly used but its still off for me. The closest i could get is r47 banthony (I have done video comparisons and pictures, looked at it from front to back to left to right). I also admit this has its pro's and cons but when it comes to the quick release and how it looks it's the only one that hits carmelo shot. Try it and and tell me what you think i also respect the fact we all have different opinion's,just trying to help out... I'll tell you its pro's and cons later on.

Thanks man... I think I have one, I noticed on the r69 u suggested has the correct height, But when melo shoots his fingers are pointed toward the basket (stiff and should be pointed down) . I studied his shots (he has several types but i'll just make it simple and use two of the styles he uses) 1.normal shot, 2.quick release shot. one thing thats very hard bout 2k13 is it would be alot better if they let you change his shooting hand and his supporting hand, but its not possible in 2k13. The closest I have gotten is r73 it has the least cons in my opinion.PRO'S: 1. has correct height of melo's release 2.has correct shooting hand form( the flick, and fingers pointed down) 3.has correct supporting hand form (steady and correct bend). The only CON i have noticed is his shooting hand is at the side of his head when he shoots ( the correct one is it has to be slightly in front of his face).... But hey atleast we could live with it looks pretty darn good. If you check the knicks gsw game today you can see what i'm talking about as well as his other games... Sorry to sound geeky bout melo, just a big fan and just trying to help... if you see any other cons about that shot pls tell me, and if you agree thanks

a.)r48 bmelo/26 (correct right hand form *front of face*) cons: supporting hand, and release not flicked.

b.)my personal fav. r47 bmelo (melo's quick release *video comparison accurate*, also accurate on how he puts his hands down quickly after his shot, almost accurate shooting hand form and supporting hand) cons: the form is low, if it would have been higher it would be perfect, Pull up form is low but when compared to pics of his jumpshots he used it before.

c.)r74 bmelo ( only thing thats accurate is his pullup form) cons: the release looks odd and similar to pierce.

I wouldn't say obsessed... but a huge fan... So you could say the only person i focus on in 2k would be melo. lol
- I understand why you choose 69 because it looks accurate far and from the side. for me i check front side and back... I'm not trying to start anything, To be honest there is no perfect jumper for melo in 2k13... Thanks for your feedback mate. cheers

yes but you should consider that this is only a game, do not expect too much. real players can change the way they shoot in every game, during the pull up and spot up shots. try to use r. gay as a shot base, its pretty realistic especially when you see him shoots at the back but in the other side i'm not sure

Yup i've used b.gay before... I remember pairing it with r80... He uses that mostly when he has wide open jumpers, with a follow through... I'll try it out with r.69.... Thanks

i like Gay's shotbase but it makes him doesn't jump high so i still prefer his default shot base. anyway, thanks for all those 33 people who believe and likes my sig shots
