Once I get my tutorials and documentation taken care of, I will probably be nothing but non-traditional basketball mods for NBA 2K14 PC.

If you want me to make your favorite outdoor courts, give me as much information as you can. Pictures, info on tick marks, backboard types, are helpful. A picture of Google/Bing maps of the court helps too. I will try and make these after I finish the video game courts.



You may have seen some previews of this mod being created in the Create Your Own Arena thread, but for those that missed it, this is just a street mod I'm making for the end of 2K13, and hopefully something that transfers into 2K14.

• Elements of the Blacktop Revitalization Mod for Blacktop Mode

Basic Idea & Explanation
So what I've been doing all these weeks and months is try and create a template for myself where I can quickly create a 1 texture court (thanks to R4zoR) decide on crowd size, then choose a backboard shape, and essentially have a court completely created. The Catch, to avoid the tedious and time-consuming nature of creating buildings, I am playing up the "Midnight Ballers" aspect of this and only have the court lit without any surroundings. This makes things quick, a little lazy, but still fun and playable. I do plan on adding buildings later, but due to the limited nature of stadium customization, it will be limited to similar lighting techniques like In This Example.

FINALLY!!! I Will be able to unleash the greatest MyPlayer street basketball has ever witnessed
Wish we could uses single elimination playoff format for 1vs1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs3, and 4 vs 4 games. That would make this mod

if people want to start posting images with court designs and backboards, sure. A google/bing map snippet like those in my personal real life courts would be helpful too. That way you don't have to publicly post your local court.

Not planning on doing indoor courts until 2k14 probably. Right now I just want to focus on getting these no environment night textures done, then build upon that with better backboards, some kind of environment, and jerseys/rosters.

So I moved the Rucker crowd closer, on the ground of course, and while they are standing the atmosphere is unbeatable. When they sit it is weird....and there are many graphical glitches since the crown member's original positions aren't anywhere near as close to the court as these ones are. What do you guys think? Worth it? Or stick to where the crowd was before, backed up a little bit.

I like the close crowd. Maybe not for every court but at least some

Love the closer crowd, it does look weird some times, but the people being so close to the court adds real street atmosphere, atleast that's my opinion.

today i went to shoot some bball in my hometown street court "Rucker Park" so i took some pic...this is actually how it currently looks...we don't use concrete floors anymore...we use wood floor until they take it up for the end of the season
