Just some ideas for topics

Story threads seem to be picking up slightly. I have been paying attention to a few of them. I even started my own college story featuring youtube personalities like Chris Smoove, Neal Bridges, and Cam Baker. It also features characters from the NLSC characters such as Rorry Hobbs, Kevin Parker, and you will even see Jon Smith (JaoSming ) listed in the story if you look carefully.

.....time to search my name in the forums again.


I'd like to hear some retrospectives on announcements. Drum up an old news post or forum thread from years or decades (because this site can go decades!) old. Try to remember what you were saying or feeling then, compare to now, etc.


It's been a while since we did that Ultimate Game talk, so what would your ultimate basketball game include from already-existing games? Top to bottom. Better yet, what wouldn't it include.


You guys seeing any similarities with patching this year compared to 2K9?


I'd also like to hear you guys talk about FSHed, EAgraph, FSHx, Dolffin, bigGUI and compare their development/support/updates to REDitor, RED MC, 2KX Tool, 3DM's tool, Greg's tool, and even Finn's roster tool for 2K9.


Also, if you haven't in this episode, bring up and talk about Kenny's articles. (I may have missed the podcast if you did his first one).

I don't know if it was discussed previously, but I'd like to hear you talk about the different Flagrant 1/2 calling criteria.

We have touched on some of the calls that have been made, but haven't gone right into it like we have some other things, like charge/blocking calls. On the list.

Why are there no more threads in which members appreciate each other and interact on a level beyond basketball or a pre-determined topic ? I am referring to Year-reviews, Yearly awards, describe a poster and other great topics of the past?

I also believe such topics hold a certain weight and should be started by mods, preferably Andrew. We all realize and appreaciate you efforts to keep this site going and clean, but it is slowly loosing the BigFamily feel it embodied.

Which member is the greatest NLSC export ? ( guys like Jao, Leftos...)

Or argue for LeBron being the greatest active player.


Any mods on either of your 'bucket lists' (for lack of a better term) that you have yet to make, or see?


I may have missed a podcast or the part where you might have done this, but what ongoing modes do you have going on? Not "oh I'm running a dynasty" but what have you done trade-wise, strategies, etc.


I'm not asking Ben to talk about anything because I just want to hear his thoughts on the Clippers jerseys and I know we'll get that regardless

I could give you greatest active player, because I'm far more inclined to believe that, and there's no lack of evidence. G.O.A.T...sorry, can't do it.

I've mostly been playing Ultimate Team as of late and have talked about it some, but I can definitely talk about it more...especially as news comes and goes, during the preview season. Added those suggestions to the list!

What do you guys make of the live 16 team clearly taking the holidays off?

No data no roster updates. What do you think about that? EA is trying to make a comeback, do you think this helps there situation?

I always see two major dates for theses games to make there mark and it's the release date and Christmas, should EA of worked that little bit harder to finish/update certain areas of the game?

I know they had the game on sale over the holidays which will of course draw more people in but they could of done more.

With all the coverage of kobe and the farewell tour as we say goodbye to one of the leagues greats do you think KG will get anything close to Kobe's attention.

I know there not on the same level of success but he's still one of the greats.

I'll add that to the docket for next week. KG's one of my all-time favourite non-Bulls, so that's definitely an interesting one to cover.

- Who do you think is most likely to be traded before the deadline. Noah? Rose? Gibson? Butler?
- Aside from the Nets, who do you think should blow it (front office, coaching staff) up this season?
- What # should the Lakers retire? 8 or 24?

One more thing.

The 76ers are retiring Dolph Schayes jersey number (#4) BUT Nerlens Noel will still continue to wear #4. What do you think of current players wearing retired numbers?

Do you think EA has done enough to draw in a bigger crowd for nba live 17 or do you think they are in any danger at all of getting the plug pulled unless they up there efforts to get more people playing Live 16?
