Scoreboard editing

I didn't have a hard time in NBA 2K12 doing this stuff, but I'm really sorry for posting this "noob" question, what tool should I use to edit textures of custom scoreboards (like TNT & ESPN). I tried to use 3DM and NBA2K Mod tool but the textures don't show up clearly with those tools.

Can someone answer and help me please? Especially those who edit scoreboards.
