Talk about NBA 2K13 here.

For some reason, I get no enjoyment of a game if it's set in the past, and not in a fictional future. I'd love to start a new My Career, but don't want to start in the 2012/2013 season that in reality is already going on. I would like to start in 2013/2014 instead, and be a rookie there.
Now, I know it's not a feature in the game, but I have a few ideas about how to do it in my game, but need help. So, if you could kindly help me out..... I have the Roster Editor, and Cheat Engine.....
Option 1: Make a roster where I assign 2013 draftees on teams + make free agent signings and some trades, and just start the game normally "pretending" that it's the 2013/2014 season
- I have downloaded a 2013 draft class with cyberfaces. How do I get these players added to the rosters before the season starts?
- How do I make 2012 rookies not be rookies in the game
Option 2: Start the game normally with 2012/2013 rosters, but not play in a single game during the season and just sim it
- Is it possible to give an injury to my player in My Career?
- Is it possible to make my player a free agent in My Career in the Roster Editor, and just sim the 2012/2013 season as a free agent, and sign somewhere in the offseason?
