How to Combine Lagoa body with maumau78 long hexpads?

opening both models in blender and copying over the long hexpads to lagoa's models. similar process as converting CFs from previous 2K games for those tutorials

Don't know how an what to copy an paste but i've been trying but haven't figured it as yet....HELP please! i put the layer in edit mode an copy then paste over the other layer it changes but wen i saved it dosen't show no where on my pc an wen i overwrite nothing changes!

I dont know the exact process, and honestly the end result doesnt motivate me enough to do it.
