PC: Wrong Disc Inserted

Hello,

I have been searching everywhere for a solution to my problem and haven't found anything yet. I do apologise if this has already been addressed or should be placed in a different forum.

I bought NBA 2K13 from EB Games in Australia yesterday. I can successfully install the game, but when I try and open the game, it says that the wrong disc is inserted. From my searching across the net, I understand this was a major problem that a lot of people faced when the game was released. I understand that SecuROM released a fix that would work until the 31st of October--obviously this doesn't work for me. It surprises me that this is still a problem 3 months after the game has been released. I just want to know if anyone was able to have this issue resolved and if so, what they had to do. I just want to play this game!

tell support.2k.com or whatever phone number is in the manual. iirc, they were supposed to get those copies off the shelves and replace them with fixed ones.
