Steam Download

Are there any limitations to purchasing the game via Steam? Seems to be the best option for me in NZ.

Will the installation etc affect me when installing patches etc?

EDIT: Am I correct in my understanding that if downloaded with Steam I won't be able to get the latest game patch installed?

No limitations (except those PC vs consoles differences), no problems installing mods (except online data updates). For PC there isn't another option than Steam (not sure if you can still get the US DVD). When 2K decides to release the patch you'll get it automatically (the issues where for other distributors, not Steam).

The DVD version should still be fairly easy to source, but all digital copies are indeed through Steam.
