Rooster problem....

Can anyone tell me, why 2k can't leave waived players on a free rooster pool? Like Eddy Curry, T-Mac and others? Is it too hard?

No, unless they're retired. 2K is just lazy. BTW the only reason I looked at this thread is because I was expecting to see a bird refusing to get off the rim or something lol.

Edit: Also, this is probably a subject more suited for the NBA 2K13 general section.

It would actually be much easier to just leave them there, eliminating an extra step for the NBA 2K Insider to have to perform. Presumably the thought is that players who are unlikely to sign with an NBA team, either because they're semi-retired, playing overseas or not in shape to play/aren't drawing any interest, shouldn't be available in the rosters as it's unrealistic for them to be readily available. I doubt it's a legal issue as EA didn't do that with their roster updates, so it seems it's 2K's initiative. Personally, I'd just leave them there unless they've officially retired.
