The 360 version of the game is nice! Very detailed and sharp looking tats....so anybody know why the tats version of the PC is so damn blurry?

its weird since I think the menu players show up fine, but not in-game. I tried importing in the 2K12 models' UV maps and even the 3D models themselves and it didn't fix it.
something someone could try is creating custom mip maps for an arm texture, and see if the game even uses the "real" texture or not.

Are the tattoo textures high resolution enough in themselves?

yep, if you take a look at like, the Heat in the team select menu, notice LeBron's tats' detail. The textures are iirc 512x512.
In game, it looks halved in both gameplay and replay.

wow...i never noticed that in the select team menu that its hi res....there's got to be a way to get that while playing

Are you sure it has nothing to do with the way textures are just rendered in game... all the textures look blurry to me even when set to high quality...

I changed player LOD on the config file. They are still blurry bit a bit better...
