My Career Problem

After a few edits with my career (either via trainer or in-game edit player), I noticed that my stats for HoF progress and Career Milestone does not update. My steals number is stucked at 198. After a game with 10 steals, it's still 198.

Any solution guys?

It doesn't count playoff stats. Could that be the problem? I remember getting frustrated at 2k11 over that, but I then remembered it was the playoffs.

Anyways, thanks for the help. I'll be checking it after 2 games where I'll wrap up the Finals with Fo' Fo' Fo' Fo' just like Moses Malone.

When you modify the game with the trainer, it can cause issues with stats tracking and the like. You have to weigh up the importance of that stuff against making the desired changes with an external tool.

Thanks Andrew. However, another bug is linked with this one. The Social Media goes blank. Anyways, thanks for the info. It was the same thing I observed with 2K11 and 2K12 when using trainer.

Sometimes, there's something I do to restore the social media feature. Just change ur jersey number or edit something. Or go shootaround, go anything else. It sometimes restore that. That's what I do.

Nope, not a bug. Playoff stats are not counted as part of 'records' in real life, either. Kareem's 38,387 points, for example, is regular season only. (He has another 5762 points in the playoffs.)

The logic is that the records should be fair for everyone, which means all players should (potentially) have the same amount of games - 82 a season. If some players gets to play 82 games a season and others get to play up to 110 games in a season that would be inherently unfair.

That said, there are records and all-time leaders for the Playoffs, tracked separately from regular season statistics.
