NBA 2K13 Patch Out Tomorrow

#NBA2K13 patch submitted to Microsoft and Sony. As long as there are no unforseen circumstances, should be released in no more than 14 days

As always, #NBA2K13 patch notes will be released to you when I get confirmed release date.

So basically, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users should be getting the patch within a couple of weeks if all goes well. PC users, as usual, should likely expect it to be out much later.

Oh man.. PC would probably get it around Feb/March like the past versions.

This PC is a third party thing is getting old, sometime these companies will re learn that PC isnt going anywhere and is not to be treated like a 3rd world unit.

Even EA with Fifa13 are treating PC better than consoled right now! lol.

In terms of sales, the PC version is nowhere near the consoles so it's understandable that it's not a priority. That said, we are still paying customers, so it's frustrating and disappointing.

True with the sales aspect, but if a patch is for the game/engine and so on and its a port to PC (albeit with removed items) I cant see the overall loss in funds for them to them "port" that patch to PC in such a lengthy time frame. Fifa13 has the same type of sales, yet EA patched PC before any consoles with every patch so far, and we are talking EA here (money money money).

I find the whole PC last console first thing funny at times, where exactly was the game constructed before it was scaled to the console In fact what is a console than a fixed type PC unit

EA, AFAIK, only delivers FIFA 13 via Retail and Origin. If 2K did indeed keep to Retail and Steam as we discussed in the podcast, maybe the patch will come earlier this year, since there won't be any delays from the multitude of DDs that got the game last year and produced their own versions with their own DRM, etc.

PC always gets screwed. Hope it comes soon after, but that's probably asking too much.

I hope some of these issues get resolved.

The 3's are ridiculous if u master the timing, I've seen people jack up 20+ 3's with Jamal Crawford and make over 50% of em and most of em were contested, I've seen someone go 9-10 from 3pt with Lebron and most of em contested, last years 3pts were perfect after the patch bcuz they relied more on players real shot % vs good/perfect release.

They need to fix the collision, players can drive the lane way too easy with no contact at all.

Driving baseline seems almost unguardable at times, that needs fixing.

Blocks- Layups and dunks should be able to be blocked a little more frequently

fastbreak defense is awful, sometimes its almost in possible to stay in front of a man on the break, or if you are in front of the man on the break the player movement becomes jerky

Out of bounds, fouls should be called on some of the force outs and out of bounds should be called in the paint- ive seen so many players step on the line with no call

inbounding (team-up) sometimes you cant pass the ball in and have to burn a lot of time outs til you can get the ball in.

Fouls, some games it seems like they dont call anything. I've played against someone whose first fouls came at the end of the game on intentional fouls, and he was hacking the whole game.

Absolutely, I was just talking about the PC version's place in the pecking order in general. The reason given for the delay in the past is that they've had to wait for approval from all the digital distributors. Since this year it's basically just retail and Steam, presumably that won't be the case...or they'll need to find a different excuse.

Seems it will be out earlier than expected. No release notes as of this post, but they'll be coming tomorrow along with the patch. 360 and PS3 only, no word on the PC update for now.

Patch said 3pt will be harder to hit . ( I assume this also for PC users)
So will it mean an increase in difficulty. Lets say from Pro Arcade to Superstar Default?

Ronnie believes that it will be out once the consoles have finished receiving updates, ie a combined update as we received last year.
