Black Spots with 3DM Tool

when i try to change the .iff of a player with the 3dm tool, i get those black spots on the body when i put the edited png in the game. here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/crflx.jpg

I had the same problem. I saved the body as a DDS file DXT1 (No alpha) in Photoshop and the spots were gone. Give it a try. Hope it helps

how can i open .dds files with photoshop cs6? it says not supported and i cant find a plugin

I Google'd "dds files with photoshop cs6" first option. How hard did you look? :lol:

thx man, it works now :D

but i have another problem. when i convert a 2k12 CF to 2k13 with the 3DM tool, the quality of the players kinda sucks, especially on the beard and eyebrows

play 2k12

unfortunately 2k13's players have some blurring going on, no ideas on how to fix it

now i have black spots on the players neck
but not all players have that problem, only a few. and only from a distance for whatever reason.

Make alpha channel and save it as dxt5 interpolated alpha

i did this but it won't work. could somebody try to fix the CF for me? :bowdown:
