2K's got a lot of nerve for PC users

Postby Jarus on Fri Nov 02, 2012 12:47 am

yesterday we were asked to predict yesterday's game winners through the hlaf time show, which is nice addition..
today i opened the game, played one game and in the half time show it showed me which predictions were right and which were wrong..
the funny part is that they didnt forget to show me my prize after i got about 70% right , what do i get? you've guessed it right - VC!
i got 100 VC!!! what the hell should i do with it??? im a PC user and there is no VC at all in the game! i remember something related to VC showing up on other parts of the game, and of course we cant get to it...
why giving me a prize i cannot use?? at least give me some SP for my MYCAREER.. i dont want to cheat the game and give myself sp via trainers.. its just unfair how console users enjoy the ability of upgrading their player to at least 80 overall in their rookie year...

2nd thing is the new 2ksports news up there in the home page.. it's written there that the myteam player store finally open! HURRAY!!!
they even write there about the 50% sale at the myplayer clothes store in which we dont have also...
this is so annoying!
im trying to forget about the diffrences between the versions of the game but they keep bragging about it in front of my face every day..
it is just reduces the fun out of everything...

Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Sadly, that's the way it goes with the PC version.

Yea even in the ticker bar at the top, I saw something yesterday talking about MyTeam, which is funny since such a feature doesn't exit for PC.

On the other hand, it's $30, and most importantly they care enough to actually make a PC version. Whereas most sports game (scratch that, most games regardless of genre) don't even bother.

I'm sure you'd be complaining a lot more if they straight up didn't make a PC version. So you gotta be grateful we even got a game.

There is that, that's certainly something worth bearing in mind. It's still frustrating though, especially when it comes to the official bug fix patches every year.

Want to talk about nerve? How about the false advertising on Steam?

Make sure and take a screencap of that steam page before they change it. That's a guaranteed refund if you ever decide you want one.

As far as the missing features go, I personally don't really care because I don't really see myself using those features. For $30, I kinda expect to not get the full experience... It is still annoying though.

To be fair, that one could easily be Steam's fault, copying and pasting a general features list rather than the PC specific one. They would be wise to change it ASAP, though.

I'm pretty sure steam gets the advertisement from 2k.

Does the vc you won turn into sp at least?

No they didn't turn into sp.. I don't want to hack my career and add myself 100 more because I won 100 vc.. I just deal with the fact that the gambling is just for fun and my player abilities will progress less faster tha. Console users.
