QUESTION ABOUT PLAYSTYLES

IV'E NOTICED THAT MOST OF THE ELITE STARs LEBRON KOBE ect.. have all-around as playstyles does this mean that endgame all-around wld be best 4 my career or are there abilities inflated past base caps because of who they are and i could never really reach Lebrons exact abilities even as all around.without cheating.

Traditionally "Athletic" is the best style to take for a new player as Speed and Quickness were the two most expensive stats.

Not sure about this year because of VC and you hardly get any SP at all.

Athletic is still the best choice, as the skills from that tree are still the most expensive ones.

well i for one preferred the 3pt specialist.. that helped me score like 7 threes in the rookie showcase... without any trouble to upgrade my shooting for A WHOLE YEAR! (thanks 2k for that)

1st thnk for replies but let me clarify im not talking beginning im talking by the 2nd 3rd yr endgame because ive noticed in roster most stars have all around as play style so in the long run is all around what i want when i get to max most my stats.? Kobe ,lebron wade all are all around or are there stats padded regardless of caps for that particular playstyle .

All-Around is a fairly solid choice and the one I go with, because as the name implies it means your player is decent across the board, but the trade-off is that you're not fantastic in any one area. It does give you a bit of a head start in all areas though, so it does help in terms of being able to evolve into a LeBron or Kobe-like player.
