A lot of improvements to see, although I'd already heard most of the stuff they mentioned in the Team-Up impressions videos. It's nice to see them directly mentioning speed, which was a big issue, although they mentioned it as part of quick guys blowing past the defender, and not in a fast-break context. Don't know why. Still bounce passes will help on those fast breaks a lot.

Pretty much covered everything that was in the team-up impressions. I did notice the Knicks have their new unis.

Definitely liking what I'm hearing in regards to the controls. Dynamic shot generation sounds good, from the sounds of things it's basically an alternative to real time physics in the way collisions on shot attempts are handled. Clips looked slick as well.

Thanks for the post! Definitely a nice quick glance of the new physics system. Although the team-up impressions has said the speed on fast-break moments have been addressed, I would've liked to see it in this vid. Maybe Insight #3???

The Jeff Teague blow-by on Tyson Chandler is astronomical! I don't believe the Defensive Player of the Year will get beaten that badly on the perimeter in an actual game. Hopefully these vids are from an early build and will be addressed before the final release.

That was a quick and dirty insight. I like the work on the collisions. I'm not sure if I will like players being "out of the play for a moment" like when they jogged up the court all game after getting injured in a previous 2K.

The only things I didn't really like was the clip of Chandler getting ran around by Teague, and the "out for a moment" stuff. I know the mismatch example was to should that quick players can get around big men, but I don't want it be like they're so slow they don't have a shot at stopping anyone. Maybe if they put in a "good perimeter defender" icon exclusive to big men so you can apply it to players who can actually guard out there. (Noah and Taj Gibson somewhat come to mind) The taken out of the game aspect close to the end of the video reminds me of PES, where injured players leave the game for awhile to get looked at. If it doesn't happen often it could work, but if you have physical basketball knocking out people all over the place, it could be an issue.

Don't judge that by one clip. From what I've listened to in the Team-Up impressions videos, on-ball defense will be just as good and satisfying in 2K13 as trying to go past your defender.

Wow. That is really interesting. I wonder why they did that. Maybe the Live 13 video was a troll to get 2K13 to release more information.

2K knows what it's doing for the most part. I still have some graphic issues that I would like to see addressed. I want to find out from them if they consider release a HD textures pack, kind of like Battlefield did. Also being a Association junkie, I wish they revamped the created/generated player models. Those are hot garbage and ruins the Association experience. There are more Association bugs but that would be a start.

I definitely find the Association bugs annoying too, but the overall depth and features of the mode are solid to say the very least. Iron out these issues, keep enhancing gameplay, improve online stability and NBA 2K13 is sure to be a great game. That is the benefit of having a solid foundation to build upon.
