A couple things I forgot to mention in my video:

The speed is fixed. Westbrook blazes by everyone and u can tell players are slower than others. I like that. The biggest thing that kinda irked me was they were bragging about the full build and how great it was but they didn't want to show us it. Were they trying to build hype or not confident enough to show it to people in the community.

The biggest thing that kinda irked me was they were bragging about the full build and how great it was but they didn't want to show us it. Were they trying to build hype or not confident enough to show it to people in the community.

This is more to do with the time it takes to do a build they know won't crash or fall apart or whatever. This build they were showing they know would work and could have people playing, but if they just built a version the night before they don't know if there's some hidden bug that'll crash the whole game if you press the shoot button with turbo or whatever. They've been playing and testing it in house but they can't do a real world display of it yet.

And also they're just trying to cover for any bad PR that comes from the live testing.

Aaand nothing about a proper Blacktop Mode.
I swear, if this year's game's Blacktop Mode is just as crap as the insult that was last year's, I'll...swear a lot.

just keep in mind that they never talk about Blacktop mode, and that will probably remain true this year. We only found out about 2k12's when those YT videos of an early copy were uploaded. 2K11 had no pre-release info iirc, and 2k10 only had the screenshots of celebrities via IGN.

My hope is with all the celebrity involvement there will be some talk of the mode, but right now, its just wishful thinking

eh, I'll take 2k10 personally. You could choose a court plus all the settings and the "real" dunk contest. 2k11 had the crap showdown DC and 1 court. 2k12's is pretty good though with the neutral crowd (cheering both teams) and multiple courts....just the lack of options......

to continue the diversion, old options from pre-2k9 would be great to have back too, like CPU selecting players, and choosing 4, 6, 8, or 10 random players/legends to pick from.
