Well there are 6 Jay-Z songs, so I think that one is official. But yeah, this years soundtrack seems nice, I like it.

Well I guess because basketball and that type of music just does not fit to basketball. Don`t get me wrong I like Rock and if there are some basketball motages with that type of music it`s cool. It`s just that Hip-hop goes with basketball better than Rock style.

Actually some Hardcore Punk and some Nu-Metal (I hate nu-metal but it good with basketball) songs are good with basketball but you're right bro...

Funny that you say that only hip hop goes with basketball games as there are some great videos out there with symphonies and classical instruments that aren't hip hop. Also, Rock music is what influenced hip hop for what it is today , since a lot of what they did in the beginning was SAMPLE ROCK MUSIC.

Actually Rock songs like We'll Rock You or We're the Champions could be good soundtrack songs... But also I prefer to hear some old school rap like DMX, Dr.Dre and B.I.G... Good music'll tuned good in everywhere...

no if you go on their facebook its out there they will put the song again... and also for everyone there might be an option like mlb2k12 where you can put your own music in game.. i tweeted ld2k along time ago saying that option should be in game and he told me thats being highly considered

Im done with rap man. Ive gotten too old to keep hearing a narcissist stroking his ego in a song. Most of the tracks in the 2K13 album are like that. No thank you. jay Z is going on mute almost immediately. Kanye most likely as well.

I'm neither excited nor infuriated by the reveal, but soundtracks aren't a major concern to me. I usually end up liking a few of the songs anyway, but for the most part I don't pay them much mind and the option to remove songs from the playlist is always there if there's one that actually bothers me.

Looks like I'll be muting quite a few of the songs if I end up getting the game. Also, no idea why would they put a song that was in a previous game in there. I used to like some rap and actually I still do, but I stick to the older stuff. Most of the pseudo-rap coming out today is too fucking stupid for me to tolerate listening to (and I guess autotune is another huge turnoff for me).

2K introduced me to a few music artists I had not heard of before, and with no chance of that happening again, I am a bit disappointed.

Jay-z has ruined the 2k sound track. It was never great but now we got Jay-z calling himself jahova, Biggie saying he is the satans son, Cold Play with a cryptic song about the bible and a french band thats mocks the cross using at a logo for there violent music.

I know you people who listen to his music wont care but I should be able to play a game without my religeon bieng attacked.

Should you, really? It's your choice of buying the game or not. Also, 2K was nice enough to give you the option of turning off songs that you don't want to hear, at least I still think we have that option. Although, I agree with you not liking the soundtrack. A lot of those songs are old and there isn't a huge variety of new songs or artists that I haven't heard of before, which I disappoints me.

Well then, I've seen/heard some strange songs/music videos in my time... This seems to beat all of them...
