Hey there, im new here and I want to ask something. I've been playing nba2k13 for around 1wik and using the sliders. The problem is I want to be a Laker in the draft but, I always end up 30th(Golden State) pick in the 1st round. I'm putting in the sliders draft pick "30" and "60" but its still the same always end up in Golden State. Please help. Lakers is 2nd round 30th pick.

Orayt sir. Got anothing question. I'm playing SF and everytime I'm traded to the lakers and dwight is gone and traded to the other team is there anyway to prevent dwight from being traded to the other team?

Is there a difference between DVD version and steam version of NBA2K13?

Not as far as I'm aware, aside from the obvious difference of one having physical media and the other being completely digital.

Im not able to see any of my player's endorsements in MY CAREER mode like the billboards, commercials etc. When I open it, it crash to the desktop, someone help me

I had an annoying accident. I accidentally pressed the play next key game and voila! My stats went down and i dont like that. its like 15 plus games that were simulated. Need to start a new career.

Im new to the game (real life) and the .. umm, PC game So im learning a lot very fast.

I need to wrap my head around 2k's way of doing things with files (I am mainly from Fifa13 sports etc).

1. Drafts & Rosters ....

When I load a roster I assume that I can then load a Draft file, then if I save roster this will include the roster + the draft?

When I start a career with said roster & draft file loaded before I start the career, does this mean A) It loads the career with these being used & B) does it get saved into the career save with roster & draft as one? Or ... Do I need to load roster/draft & then enter career mode and carry on to play it?

Also does this mean that if I dont load draft/roster and re load to carry on career it will have a problem? What if I have multiple careers using different drafts?

2. Has there ever been a utility for previous nba2k games that was a "launcher" So you could handle auto load of selected rosters/careers and thing like that?

3. I realise music doesn't seem to have any way of customising for PC (using your own) ... so has there been modders who changed music by encoding news files? Is it easy to do? I assume its converting audio file into IFF amiga format? Does it have some kind of header? I would think your tied to the fixed music slots of the game.

FYI Canye West & Jayz are probably the least I would listen too in terms of "hiphop" ... "Rap" ... well, yes. For now there tracks are excluded from my play list. Also I am suprised of the box hype with Jay Z ... I mean you could knock up that track selection in an Ipod Shuffle mode in 3 seconds, also coupled with the fact all music sound like a 64kbps encoded MP3, not as good as the box hype. INtro video for games is good, but soundtrack wise I hope they get a better budget or let custom playlists for PC on the next one.

As you can tell im still a bit confused as to how this game deals with that side of things, any answers would be great.

Is there a way to transfer the myplayer files to another PC or OS? I've recently upgraded to Windows 8 and did a clean install of it. Tried playing NBA 2k13 on it but I can't login to my account (can't play online, download official rosters or anything related online). Whenever I try to click "login to an existing account" and enter the details. It says that the account name does not exist. I Can't even create a new one because the key was activated from my Windows 7 before.

Notes:
-game is retail version (hard copy)
-never did install the game in windows 8 (ran NBA2k13 directly from the folder)

Please advise.

You should contact 2K Support about that. They're the ones who can handle anything to do with product keys, accounts and their servers.

Hi,don't know if this is the right place ti post my questions,I've tried in the "releases&previews" section but got no answer.
Can someone told me what an ENB does for the graphic in game? and the fxaa?? I've already forced the selfshadow with nvidia inspector (diablo III compatibility), if I add the "mlp111 enb & sj1414 fxaa" downloaded from this forum, wich are the changes? there is a reason why i didn't try by myself and i'm asking you....'coz I don't know how to do this: copy the files in the main 2k13 directory? there is a FXAA TOOL.exe file,i've got to run it??
