PC version is terrible, it didn't get the overhaul that the consoles versions got. It's almost identical to the 2k12 game. All they changed were the controls and the menus, amazing we got shafted all around....

Commentary is the same, intros with the same voices, etc....I don't get it....

360 feels and looks like a different game....

I have PC and 360.....But PC version is almost the same............even Jaosming just announced that the 2k12 files are working in 2k13...wtf is up with that...

I knew what version you were talking about...I also got the PC version tonite(and gave Jao those files). I just have no other version to compare it too.

Can anybody confirm and tell if the PC version really got shorthanded on the new stuff?

Can you give specific examples of the exact differences in 2k13 between PC and 360?

Am I really seeing that when I go into the player edit screen, I can't even change shoes for any player? I have the 360 version and the PC version, and in the PC version, there's no choose shoe option under the sock length category. I really hate how the y did the shoes this year and wish they would have kept that Nike I.D. stuff seperate.

So here is what happened when I imported a 2K12 shoe file into 2K13. Since you can't seem to change the player's shoes on the PC version, I had to find the file of the shoe that Lebron was wearing, which is "shoe_123_00" and copy over that file, but it doesn't even matter because you can't even customize home & away colors. I'm really not liking this at all, but hopefully down the line someone will figure out something. Oh, and there's no more pshoes.

What about the sweat effects from the PC version?

Guys, can you please elaborate on the differences between versions? Is it really THAT bad?
Mind you, I mostly care for the core gameplay experience i.e. the control and AI.

Not all of us have a console and this news are really freaking me out...

Like somone already pointed out, and I've only tried a few, but floor and stadium files from 2K12 seem to work. I also replaced the dds file of the net, which is actually from 2K11. The net is supposed to go around the top of the rim like the real NBA one, but it's not that noticeable.

The game is so infested with Hip Hop garbage that it plays music videos before each quarter of a game.

At least it's not every game. I played 95-96 Bulls vs 2012 Bulls it was before each quarter. Now playing 95-96 Bulls vs 2012 Thunder (who, BTW, as a team have a higher rating than those 72 win Bulls) and it didn't play a music video before the 2nd Q.

BTW, it's nice to have CPU controlled superstars playing like superstars. D-Rose did a lot of slashing and shot his usual floaters. He had 20 points and 9 assists. Pippen is playing well for my team every game. Superstars don't just score. They play their whole game.
