Replay Issue/Bug (workaround found)

Replay Issue/Bug ?

Sometimes Replay cut short sometimes they work sometimes it is stuck on last replay

not sure if this normal or bug or what

normal for pre-patch 2K13. Once the PC version gets patched it will be fixed.

what I found works is when it happens

hit start then go into Instant Replay

Rewind it then Play it for a sec or 2 then exit back to game

next replay seems to work again

annoying but workaround that works for me hopefully for all

The problem with that workaround is that when the bug occurs, I often can't access the Instant Reply menu at all. I'll give it a shot when it is accessible, though.

I meant after replay then do it sorry the messed up replay is gone forever

The other workaround I found is to go into Gametrack, then back out. Press pause again, look at your replay and it should be reset.

You don't even have to rewind it. This bug usually happens after the 1st quarter and after a "Sprite Replay" or "Nike+ Replay." Also after halftime and some fouls. (*Doesn't work with myCareer though.)

Yes the bug happens at the beginning of quarters and after major replays like "sprite replay" "nike+ replay" "dunk cam" etc. So just make sure you pause the game after the major replays (sprite, nike, and dunks) and go to instant replay and rewind it for like 2 seconds and exit the instant replay. A way to make sure your replay hasn't bugged out after you've done this is to inbound the ball and bring it past half court and then make sure the instant replay has captured that.

This process sounds long but takes about 10 seconds. Always make sure you do this after halftime at the very beginning of the 3rd quarter because even if the bug did not kick in before half time it is a guarantee that it will show up to start the 3rd quarter.
