HEX on steriod and other patches install help

Hi everyone!? I recently downloaded a few mod tools and update patches, But I am having problem installing the Hex on steriods to the 2k13!? Am I supposed to created a folder on the desktop to install Hex on steriods instead of pasting it to the 2k13 folder!? Can somebody give me a step by step instruction on how to install the mod tools and the update patches for 2k13 please!?? I am new to all this and I have never install patches manually before and mod tools before. I always depended on the auto run to do it for me. But I would like to learn!! Can someone please help me with this basics so that I can start learning how to mod the 2k13 game!! Thanks again!!

for tools, you need to extract the 7z/zip/rar file's contents and then run the exe to start it. The tools are used for modifying stuff, and if you having this difficulty with installing tools, hex on steroids is going to be above your head.

I just looked at some of the tutorials, Do I need to install Java to get the mod tools to work? The exe is that the Hex on steriods you are refering?? Sorry my questions might seem dumb please bear with me I will begin to understand all this I just need to grasp the basics.

what are you trying to accomplish? if you just want to install mods then you only need to know where to put ROS and iff files.

I am trying to modify the game 2k13. I want to be able to have the option of making my team mates injured and others on the rosters of the cpu's team, to make it like the injuries in the NBA right now. Also to figure out if I can do something about the 9 foot player dunking glitch with some of these tools. I want to be able to change my teams logo and colors, colors of their uniforms. I want to create my own team, my senorio would be be drafted as top five lead the team to a undefeated season until the trade deadline. Then out of nowhere the GM trade me to my modified team, in the storyline I'm insulted and I would have a personal rivalry for that organization. I want to make injuries for the players that I want to keep on my team in the my career mode. Because even when the team is not losing and is actually undefeated, the computer makes some dumd trade before the trade deadline. Which doesn't make any sense to me!! In the real NBA if a team is doing well the GM and coaches is not going to trade anyone and ruin the team chemistry heading into the playoffs. I want to be able to modify the game like what is shown in the tutorials. Because I don't think that in the 2k14 their going to allow creating your own team on the my career mode, also they wouldn't allow to create a 9 foot player or even an 8 foot player that has all those dunk abilities.

Roster Editor, just open your save and edit

that is an anti-hack measure put in my 2K, not possible to fix
