NBA 2K13 Player Equipment Options

How come you can't combine leg pads and calf sleeves in this year's NBA 2K on Xbox 360? I want to equip players with those long leg sleeves you see them wearing on TV. Does anyone know how to do that? Please be as specific as possible if the answer requires a download b/c I am totally unfamiliar with this stuff.

I'm playing on PC so I can't confirm whether it's possible or not, but if that option isn't available then I assume there was some issue behind the scenes and/or 2K simply overlooked it/didn't think anyone would miss it.

It's amazing that the 2K staff probably did just screw it up. It's amazing how some of that stuff happens with video games. They need to outsource the creators to the US and some people who actually play the game. I thought tho that you could download some features. I came across some posts which mentioned some download you can do to get the updated equipment. I tried to do it but I couldn't figure out what to download. I don't know.

The game is developed in the US, so I'm not sure what you're talking about there. We definitely don't have any extra features with the PC version, indeed certain features have actually been removed.

We do have the ability to edit texture files though, which allows for the creation of custom accessories for players. That's only possible with the PC version and may be what you're thinking of; with the exception of the All-Star Weekend downloadable content for 360 and PS3 versions, you can't download any features for the game.
