offline fantasy draft

Sorry if this has been previously discussed, but nothing applicable came up in my search.
Offline fantasy drafts (association mode) are jacked. Computer controlled teams are drafting 4-5 PG/SGs (or 4-5 front court players) with their first 5 picks ending up with completely unbalanced teams. I haven't played NBA 2k on the PC since 2K10 or 11, but I don't remember this being an issue. Has any type of workaround been discovered? Thanks!
