Coaches Available in Association

I was wondering if there is a way to add created/real coaches to the staff pool in association

Would I have to edit the rosters, or would I have to add them to the 2K folder? Basically how would this work from a patching/editing point?

In a perfect scenario I would be able to have only real coaches/staff in the available staff, even if it means less number of staff available. Created coaches too, and retro guys who have retired, and even coaches from previous versions of 2k that can be converted

You can edit the generic coach's cyberface and portrait with Roster Editor.
EDIT: The ID's for generic coaches used in association mode are 32-47 in Roster Editor.
