Help with Creating Uniforms

Hey guys,

I'm a newb here and am hoping to learn how to create & modify uniforms. I read in another thread that you need a paint program to work on uniforms. At the moment I am working with Adobe Photoshop CS6. I went to open a jersey file that I had downloaded and it is a .IFF file. When I attempted to open the file in adobe photoshop I got the following error message.

Could not complete you request because the file-format module could not parse the file.

What does this error message mean? What am I doing wrong here?

Please, I need some help as I said I am a complete newb! Thank you in advance!

you need to extract the textures from the iff file first
