Screenshots in Fullscreen

Sat Dec 22, 2012 9:48 am

Has anybody else been unable to take screenshots when playing the game in fullscreen? Anybody know how to remedy this issue? Thanks in advance.

Edit: More info, if I press the screenshot button and paste it in Photoshop, it just pastes a dark grey canvas.

Are you playing with a standalone or Steam copy? I'm playing via Steam and I have not had any issues with screen shots. They are all full screen and full resolution.

Are you using the replay mode to snap images our just using the print screen button? From what I remember, print screen hasn't worked well since windows xp. I always use a 3rd party program like fraps that can take images and capture video.

You should use Fraps for this, or other alternative tools for screenshots capture. In Windows OS - only in window mode possible make screenshot.

I'm playing with a standalone copy but it's interesting you're able to just fine in steam... hmm. Thanks for your answer :).

I am just using the printscreen button, but I'd been able to do it last year with 2K12 without issue... or maybe I'm remembering wrong :/. Guess I'll try out Fraps, thanks for the tip (Y).

Yeah that's how I've been taking screenshots for my mod previews, but it's a hassle to change back and forth .

Thanks for the suggestions guys, cheers. :D
