What happened to the NBA Today roster updates?

Why is Steve Blake still the starting PG for the Lakers? Hasn't he been out for ages? He's had surgery for crying out loud!

Am I missing something? I thought the whole point of the NBA Today mode was to keep your game up-to-date with rosters and player ratings to reflect the real NBA, so you could play realistic NBA games, you know, TODAY!!!

The 2K Insider doesn't care what you think the point of his job is supposed to be.

Whether it's gone on PC permanently remains to be seen, but right now they're not obliging us with any updates.

i don't remember this being a problem in 2k12. I swear the NBA Today mode updated more often than this.

Complaints about problems with NBA Today updates were quite common last year, too. While 2K's online support has improved somewhat, they don't have the best track record in that area.
