Talk about NBA 2K13 here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... lupQ8a2kC8I don't know how to embed a YouTube video. So, here's my NBA 2K13 running VERY SLOWWWW! I benchmarked it using Fraps and it ran only 1-3fps. Which realllllllllllly sucks!
I can play other games smoothly like Skyrim, Fifa 13, Batman Arkham City on High Settings. But this problem is only for my NBA 2K13.
Here are my PC Specs :
Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6600 @ 3.06GHz
4GB RAM DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 1GB DDR3
Win7
Yes my PC Specs are more than recommended I think, not the strongest PC I know but it can handle high-end games decently.. and oh I can play NBA 2k13 smoothly in the past few days and this happened! I turned off my antivirus, still the same, I disabled my internet connection, still the same. I reinstalled my graphics driver, still the same, I already reinstalled NBA 2K13 for like 10x, still the same results! So help guise!
PS. All of my drivers are updated to the latest version.

Happened to me last night when my Internet gave out.
Disable your Internet when it does this. Either unplug your computer or whatever with the Internet settings. It should fix it.
Always try connecting with the Internet on first though.

Also, to embed a video here, place the link between the VIDEO tags.

Still not working mate, I disabled my local adapter, unplugged the cord, turned off my modem, restarted my computer, same results.

Hello mate. My NBA 2K13 is running smoothly and this happened. It can run to 50-55fps in game benchmark. But now it's running VERY VERY POORLY, I can't even pass the point of option because it is really slow. What thing would you like me to try bro? My OS is Win7 btw.

Friend has the exact same problem as shown in the video. His specs are worse, but was able to play Nba 2K11 and other games like skyrim just fine. We've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, updating gfx drivers, closing every other program, using lowest settings (640x400) to no avail. Since others are experiencing this with a variety of hardware I'm nnot too sure what the common variable is.
Things that I've ruled out so far:
Not a graphics card issue (other pcs with the same gfx card and drivers are able to run it smoothly in addition to the little or no change in performance that happens when altering graphics settings)
Not a directx issue (updated directx and dxdiag reported nothing wrong)
Unlikely a ram issue (friend had 6 gigs if ram, although there may be some 32bit program in a 64 bit ram pc issue?)
Any other ideas? I'm mostly curious about what may have changed with the OPs computer before Nba started going wonky, as my friends Nba 2k13 has been laggy since the first time he installed it.

i have same problem but i solve it.
Cause: after i change my password in user account Win7 thru control+alt+delete
Effect: When Playing NBA2k13 graphics lag will occur like this video.
Solution: I change back my password to the old user password.

If this works... it'll be the most unbelievable lag fix I have ever seen.

i had this issue also
i5 2500k/gtx 460 768mb/4gb ddr3
at first all was well. then i noticed a bit of a slowdown in 2k13. then in arkham city. then in skyrim. skyrim was the last straw. i reinstalled my OS, drivers, etc., and i was getting the same slowdowns. not being able to play 2k13 or arkham city wasnt that bad, but when it started messing with skyrim, i decided to find what it was. i ended up pulling everything from my computer, cleaned everything and put everything back. i used new thermal paste, got all of the dust from the case and fans and fired it up again. booted up at record speed. (i bought this rig from a friend, used, about a year ago for $200) no more slow downs in 2k13 at max settings.
summary; clean your computer and change your thermal paste. it worked for me!
let me know if it works for you, or doesnt.
