Need help installing roster and shoes from custom rosters

Hi Guys,

I just bought a gaming laptop which handles NBA 2K13 at max settings easily.

I have never had a gaming pc and hear great things about playing 2K on PC from my Xbox 360 copy

I installed the game and wanted to get a nice custom roster that had the custom shoes and jerseys along with cyberfaces for those that needed it

I believe I found MEDS which looks great in his topic but tried to install it and could not.

I can get the roster into the game which was easy but players like Pablo Prigioni and Copeland and others around the league have no heads and white arms

My question is how do I install cyberaces, floors, jerseys, shoes that he has on that file

He says on his topic to put it on the 2K folder which I did but nothing. I do have the latest 2K online data but could not.

Any idea how this all works?

That's the main game folder, which is located under Program Files\2K Sports\NBA 2K13. More info on folder locations can be found in this FAQ:

have u tried this. this is what i did and it works. everything except rosters and settings files goes in the main folder

from modding way

Download Instructions

%Appdata% (I will update this everytime so this is what you will download every update)
- Copy the Rosters and Settings files and paste it in your Saves folder

Location of Saves Folder?
Start > Run > type in "%appdata%" > 2K Sports > NBA 2K13 > Saves

Main Folder Files (you will only have to download this once)
- Copy all the Jerseys, Shoes, Cyberfaces, Floors, Logos files and paste it in your main 2K13 folder. You do NOT need to redownload anything. You only have to download the newest Main Folder Files.

When you paste the files OVERWRITE all the files that need to be overwritten. It will not harm your game in anyway and is required to have the roster function perfectly.

I was able to locate the main folder which has all the data of the game but my question is this

Do I have to just put the folders from WinRar that he provides like CyberFaces, Floors, Jerseys, Shoes etc into the main folder or do I have to copy the files inside those folders and put them into the 2K folder.

no i dont think u can put the folders in there. you have to takes the files and put them in there.

Ok guys I got the rosters to work and the cyberfaces to work but the game crashes to desktop when I use the roster. If I use default roster the game does not crash but it does when I load the Meds custom roster after entering all his files which has floors, logos, jerseys, shoes, cyberfaces into the direct 2K folder and overwriting the files.

I go to edit rosters and I see it works but wont let me play. Any idea?

My game crashes too. it is whenever I press the Y button ingame on my wired xbox 360 controller. but i am pretty sure it only crashes with every roster I use.

what about you?
EDIT ok so i did a fresh install and I have found the problem with the Y button crash. it is associated with Meds rosters

I am using a wired xbox controller but not sure if that is the reason. I just press start on the team choose screen and it goes straight to desktop using MEDS rosters.

I installed the game all over and just transferred the rosters and cyberfaces he has. Check the rosters and all cap have their correct cyberfaces but when going to start a game it crashes when choosing teams

It does not happen with default rosters.

He has 2 sets of cyberfaces on that set but not sure if both need to be used or just one.

I have fixed my game now it works perfectly with Meds rosters!!! all i did was remove this mod.

i thot it was included with Meds rosters i guess i was wrong. but it was causing the Y button to crash my game

Can you tell me step by step how to install MEDS rosters.

I installed a fresh copy of the game on my Alienware.

I did what MEDS posted on the thread for the rosters which is put the settings and roster files into the saves folder.

The other folders for floors, shoes, logos, cyberfaces I put all those in the main file overwriting the default ones.

I go to the game and load the rosters and it looks perfect when viewing them. shoes look fine and colors and accessories are fine.

But when i go to the team select screen and choose a matchup and press start button the game crashes to desktop

If I load the game back up and use the default 2k rosters the game works fine.

What am I doing wrong.
