Need help from people knows .exe editing

Someone made a "nba2k13.exe" with some cool feathers

But he said he set some "blocks" inside the file to prevent others using it

When I try to use it, the file forces the game closed after loading settings

Could anyone take a look to it and find some solutions please

You can discuss editing, tutorials, specific things to edit, but you cannot give out the file, for research or anything.

This is because any exe that is editable needs to be cracked first to bypass the copy protection, which is not allowed here.
