PC sim league

Hi, I'm sandford010 and i've been lurking for a while admiring some of the amazing stuff which is created on this forum, but recently i came up with an idea and thought this would be the best place to share it and get idea's on how possible it is.

I have been competing in something called the WAFL, which stands for World American Football League, which is a simulation football league which has been running for the past four years. How it works is that we create teams on EA sports teambuilder and out commissioner downloads them onto his PS3 and sims the game by putting the game as CPU vs CPU. We can make trades, there's a free-agency and rookie draft in the off-season and without a doubt is one of the most fun things i have ever done.

I have been trying to develop a sim-basketball league for the past couple of months and i've really come to a dead end. We have 5 teams competing and we're using NBA 2K12 for the PS3. I bought NBA 2k11 and 2K12 for the pc but recently i have lost my PC and i am now using a mac book for my computer, which as most of you know wont run NBA 2k games. When i had 2K12 for the PC the league was initially going to be run on that. We were going to mod our uniforms and create some of the best custom teams ever with a roster of fake players, but as i said that all fell through when i lost my PC.

So really what i'm asking is anyone interested in this league? I feel that it's something which i have not seen a lot of on here so i thought i'd bring something new to the table where you fine people of NLSC get a chance to own your own professional basketball franchise anywhere in the world. Now as i said i dont have the game or a PC that can run it so i would need help from people who would not be owners to help the league run. This would include Broadcasting the games, helping with modding, helping with policing the league and making sure there is no shady business going on.

It's definitely been done before. Basketball related sim leagues have certainly been popular and successful over the years, at least the ones that are set up well and run efficiently and effectively. So long as that's the case with a new PC-based sim league, I'd suggest you'll find an audience for it.
